Jak and Daxter PC in 4K 60FPS
flagship license from Naughty Dog and Sony, Jak and Daxter The PlayStation 2’s heyday was in the early 2000s. The main series consists of three platform and adventure video games, whose main “competitor” at the time is Ratchet & Clank by Insomniac Games. It was the Lombax and his robotic friend that established themselves as the flagships of the Sony franchise in recent years (the last installment of which was even a flagship to tout the PlayStation 5’s capabilities), and Jak and Daxter have since sunk into obscurity, at least on pages of his publisher.
Fans don’t have short memories and want to see this cult saga on their screens again: for this purpose, some have decided to transfer the title to PC in a more modern version (and especially with the famous 4K / 60 FPS). An ambitious project, especially considering that Jax and Daxter were created in Naughty Dog’s homegrown programming language called Naughty Dog GATE. Here is the result:

This project is neither an emulation nor a real portage Jak and Daxter The PC brings with it some additional additions compared to the PlayStation 2 version, in addition to the frequency at 60 frames per second and the resolution in 4K, these are comfort options that have been integrated:
We’ve added a number of settings options (and removed those that didn’t make sense) to give you a more modern experience or a classic experience. It depends on you ! There are also secrets that have been added. We want to keep the main essence of the gameplay (controls, physics, behavior, etc.). – Frequently asked Questions
In any case, this PC version of Jak and Daxter represents a new opportunity to rediscover(discover) an unmissable license from the 2000s. Although no new work seems to see the light of day in the coming months, there are those too Collection Jak and Daxter available on PlayStation Store, while a film is also in the pipeline.
